The Dead Sea is lifeless and shrinking. Its source (the Jordan River) gets weaker by the day, and it has no outlet to give away what it does receive (poisoning the water). If Christians lose our source and stop giving away what we receive, we can quickly turn into a Dead Sea Christian.
