Many think that recovery is only for those with alcohol or drug problems. The truth is that only about one-third of those attending Celebrate Recovery are dealing with chemical dependencies. Whether the struggle is emotional, financial, relational or chemical, there is hope. Celebrate Recovery offers a way to move forward…beyond hurts, habits and hang-ups…by offering the tools needed to experience emotional health and peace in the midst of life’s stresses. Our meetings start at 6:30 pm on Tuesday nights in room 305 in the Education building for snacks and fellowship. At 7:00 we go to the Jericho room for worship and a personal testimony or lesson. Then we break into small gender specific groups for a short time of discussion and sharing. We try to finish by 8:30. Celebrate Recovery is an anonymous and confidential program.

Prayer Chain – Martie Taylor
When I think about the various ministries of Crossroad Community Church I am reminded of the scripture in Romans 12:4-6, “For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them,”. This scripture to me is saying that all the ministries of the church (Body of Christ) function together. We need one another. When someone indicates they want to be on the Prayer Chain I mention to them that prayer is a vital part of our church family and all are welcome to be part of this ministry. Praying for one another draws us closer together and strengthens our church family as well as gives one comfort in knowing that there are members that will pray for us in our deepest needs as well as rejoice in our victories. The prayer chain is done electronically. As prayer requests come in I send them out so everyone gets the same message. You are encouraged to pray as often as the Holy Spirit encourages you to. Currently there are 127 prayer warriors. It would be a blessing to have more join us in prayer for the needs not only of our church family but also our community.

Roadmap Through the Wilderness – Don Claycomb
Jesus went into the wilderness filled with the Holy Spirit and came out with the power of the Holy Spirit. Something happened in there! Jesus went through 7 steps in His wilderness walk to come out in power. Since we are, “predestined to conform to the image of Christ,” Romans 8:29, we too can follow Jesus’ example and come out in power as well. You don’t have to stay there! It is understood Satan has an agenda in our wilderness experience, “unbelief,” Hebrews 3:19. The Father has an agenda for you in the wilderness, as well. In this 10 lesson Word, we will discuss in detail identity, authority, power, and much more. All this is for you to come out of your wilderness experience with power, anointed, and sent just like Jesus! Jesus walked the wilderness road. We now see His road map. Ushers and Greeters -Volunteer Form

Vacation Bible School – Sharon Jones
Crossroad’s VBS grows every year, and requires many volunteers for everything from set-up and registration to class leaders and nursery workers. We even need people willing to assemble snack bags passed out each evening. Our VBS is open for any child to come enjoy learning about Bible stories and the love Jesus has for each one, not just the ones who attend CCC regularly. If you would like the opportunity to help, please fill out the form below. A background check is required.

Women’s Bible Study – Kaye Bennett/Gail Betts
Every Wednesday morning at 10am and Wednesday evening at 7pm women can be found joining together for Bible Study. Generally, a study is DVD led and has a workbook or handout to go along with it. This is a great way to get to know other women within the church. Studies change about every 7-10 weeks year round (taking a break in December). Contact Kaye Bennett to sign up or to get more information about the current study.
