People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it” And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them. (Mark 10:13-16)
The nursery is meant to be a ministry to you and your child. We will strive to provide a loving, safe and fun environment for your little one so that you may relax and enjoy the fellowship and learning opportunities here at Crossroad Community Church.
The nursery is for ages 0-23 months.
We do have a sign in procedure as follows:
Sign your child in
If your child is new, please fill out the information card.
Please note any allergies the caregiver should be aware of.
All children are given a number, and if you need to be contacted during a service, your child’s number will appear on the screens in the sanctuary.
All diaper bags are to be placed on the shelf above the changing table area with the child’s name tag attached to the shelf in front of belongings. The tags have the child’s names and any known allergies.
Please mark any items your child will be using, such as bottles, pacifiers, and blankets. Stickers and pens are available.
Only adults may check a child out of the nursery area. No sibling under 16 years old will be allowed to remove younger siblings from the nursery. Only adults on release form will be allowed to pick up child.
We encourage your whole family to stay in the sanctuary during praise and worship. We understand sometimes that is not possible with nursery age children. Our nursery, ages 0 – 23 months is available during praise and worship.
